This Privacy Policy explains how Florant Operating System, trading through Florantops, collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information. Florantops is built for African businesses, particularly businesses in South Africa.

When you contact Florantops, book a demo, request pricing, sign up, or send a message through the website, we may collect personal details such as your name, email address, phone number, bakery name, business type, number of staff, preferred demo date, and message.

2. How we use information

We use this information to respond to enquiries, book demos, provide pricing information, communicate with you, support customers, send account or service messages, and improve the Florantops service.

3. Florantops system data

Florantops may store bakery operating data such as sales, stock, expenses, receivables, production records, staff roles, reports, customer information, and other system information. This data is stored through Supabase, which provides database and hosting infrastructure for the service.

4. Supabase and service providers

We use Supabase to store and manage system data. Supabase may process information only as needed to provide hosting, database, security, and related technical services. We may also use service providers for email, support, payment processing, or hosting. We do not sell personal information.

5. Payment information

Florantops does not intend to store full card details or banking details in its website or Supabase database. If online payment is enabled, payment details should be handled by the payment provider, and Florantops may store only payment status, subscription status, transaction references, and related billing records needed to operate the service.

6. Cookies and tracking

Florantops does not currently use cookies, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, WhatsApp tracking, or other marketing tracking tools on this website. If that changes, this policy will be updated.

7. Legal basis and POPIA

For South African users, Florantops aims to handle personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). We collect and use information for legitimate business purposes, to respond to requests, to provide services, and to manage customer relationships.
